Bolt's primary vision is to offer a space that nurtures conversation between new or existing networks in order to promote social kinship online.
User research reveals that a large percentage of people find it easier to find/make new friends online than striking up a conversation with a stranger in real life. This phenomenon can be isolating for individuals who are not able to be as socially active as they would have liked.
Bolt aims to create a forum where individuals may interact with one another in a supportive and engaging environment.
01 • Competitor analysis of existing social platforms.
02 • Conduct and refine user research into affinity clusters. Develop customer journey map and personas.
03 • Sketching and low fidelity concept testing.
04 • Prototyping and walkthrough with more users.
05 • Analysis and evaluation on product usage, feature adoption, feature retention, critical event conversions and user feedback.
06 • Monitor reports on user activities and user feedback, especially choke points in critical paths. Ongoing product iteration and strategic refinement.
• Define and execute product strategy, both short and long term objectives. Act as the user advocate in cross functional design discussions.
• Identify business opportunities to grow in the context of competitive factors, market demand and industry trends/developments.
• Build consensus among cross-functional teams and influence decision making with stakeholders.
• Guide and participate in project planning and execution such as user research, prototype delivery and usability testing.
• Inspire, mentor and nurture Product/UX function. Guide hiring decisions, set performance aspirations and disseminate top-level business objectives.
